EXTRA CURRICULARS
Extra curricular activities are vital for all members of the school to build a strong community. They help develop a students' sense of belonging. This will create strong bonds with their fellow classmates and teachers. Through these extra curricular activities, I have shown my passion and drive for education. I have also create strong, lasting relationships with all members of our school community. Please see below of the extra curricular activities I was a part of.
Music Club
Year 1/2 performance of "Can't Stop the Feeling"
I created a Music Club for year levels 3-6, 3/4 and Prep-2. This club was a performance club to learn more about music, singing and dancing. Each term, the club would practice a musical number and then perform at the end of term assembly. The students were also given a choice on what music to choose. We performed a variety of performance types: from a traditional sining choir to a flash mob! It was a fantastic opportunity to share my passion for music and performance with my students.
Christmas Concerts
Each year, the College would put on a Christmas Concert for students in Year Prep to Year 6. I was the coordinator and organizer of the concert for 5 years. Each class would perform a song or a small skit, and parents/guardians were welcomed in to enjoy watching their children perform onstage. This is an extremely important event within our school community. My role was to lead the concert team in brainstorming Concert themes, organising staff volunteers and schedules and ensuring that the night went smoothly. I also lead the initiative to include and invite students from Year 7-9 to perform as well (which assisted in bringing the secondary and primary together) The secondary students were very thankful for this. Some of my favourite memories at the College were MC-ing and leading the Concert.

Staff Events
Co-Ordinator
When I first arrived at my previous school, there was a need for a boost in the staff morale. One of my passions in life is creating events and making people feel welcomed. I started off planning a small get togther after school- and it grew to whole school staff trivia (which I created myself), staff bakeoffs, end of term events, the end of year party and celebrating staff members (baby showers, farewells, ES staff days, World Teacher Days) I loved working alongside the admin team and fellow staff to create memories to last a lifetime. I truly feel that I made an impact on the atmosphere of the staff at the College.
